I guess it's their shapes that impress me. However … I've been busy producing and selling scarves. I have to sew 15-20 scarves until 18th of November because then a shop will open and sell my stuff. There will be a nice little par-tay with drinks and snacks. So yesterday I made 5 scarves and 4 are already sold … that's incredible.
The thing that bugs me a bit is the decision which fabrics to buy … because although I have me scheme what I like and what I don't like (besides being very specific about my vision) … this is also my limitation … I can only use fabrics that I like. What about the others? What if somebody would like my things in general but not buy it because the fabrics are retro/flashy/boring/girlish …
That bothers me.
But on the other side … It's my product and I want to do it my way and that's exactly what I'm doing. Every single thing is totally me … totally 1x2 :)
And that makes me proud because people nonetheless love it and are happy with their purchase.
Tricky situation!
So to forget it all I listen to "Don't let me be misunderstood" by different interpreters in endless repeat :) and sew all day long.
